about

Hi, I'm Hannah (they/them) I'm an artist and book maker & live in a red house by the sea on the coast of Maine. Sarah and I met in first grade and have been antiquing together for years! I love making special quilt prints and researching old patterns.

Hi! I’m Sarah (she/her), a lover of indie film, playing make believe, and finding beautiful old things. Working alongside my lifelong friend Hannah is a dream! I'm so grateful I get to spend my time appreciating the heartfelt creations so many have left for us.

frequently asked questions:

When do you add new items to your store?

We tend to have one-two quilt drops a month. The best way to keep up-to-date is to follow us on Instagram: @heritagehousequilts, where we announce all upcoming releases and shop updates.

What are your sales policies?

All sales are final and quilts are sold "as is".

We do our best to note and photograph the damage and condition of all these pre-loved items, so that you know upfront what you are getting. Due to the nature of these pieces being antique and vintage there is usually some normal wear that happens with age.

We do accept exchanges for items damaged during shipping. Just contact us within 14 days of delivery with details of damage and images, and ship items back within 30 days of delivery.

What are your shipping policies?

We offer free shipping and discounted international rates on all of our quilts. We do however charge shipping fees on all non-quilt items and our T-shirts & Art Prints are made to order so they may take 1-2 weeks. Otherwise, we work to send out our shipments as quickly as possible, typically within a week of purchase.

Once the package is scanned in by the shipping company (UPS, USPS, DHL etc), the shipping company is responsible for your item. If you should experience a shipping problem, you can contact the shipping company and provide your tracking number. We will do our due diligence to assist as needed. Buyer is responsible for double checking that their mailing address is correct prior to purchasing.

International customers may be charged additional customs and import fees depending on the country’s policies. Payment of those fees is the customer’s responsibility, so please keep this in mind when placing international orders.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We offer international shipping - all shipping options will pop up at checkout and are calculated automatically.

Can you hold quilts in advance of a drop?

In order to be as fair as possible with our limited inventory, we do not hold or reserve quilts for folks. However, we try to shift around the time/day of the week that we do our drops to support different time zones and lifestyles.

Do you make Quilt Coats?

We do not. While we sell many great crafting quilts that would be perfect to transform into jackets, we do not make them ourselves.

However, if you buy a custom coat from a designer, we are happy to send quilts directly to them to help you save on shipping costs. Just use their mailing address at checkout.
