19th century Laurel Leaves appliqué quilt, perhaps My favorite in this collection. It has almost a painterly watercolor effect, I adored the subtle crests and falls of the faded blue fabrics. Neat and ornate hand quilting designs, also hand pieced and bound. Crisp cottons and generously sized, a true heirloom.

Condition notes: Fading and discoloration some very tiny untreated, spot stains, one mended patch near center of quilt (see photos), two very small tears (one on binding and one on the quilt back, both easy mends).
